Day 4: At Sea

Day 4 was a lazy day.  Eric was exited to get to Cabanas for breakfast to get his chocolate donuts and bacon, his standard cruise breakfast.  The boys explored the sports deck.  Megan splashed in the pool.  We went to a comedian in the afternoon.  There was some ping pong and mini golf competitions in the afternoon.  Our supper was at Royal Court this evening.  The napkins were folded into tuxedo jackets.  Eric tried escargot to be fancy.  He will not try it again.  After supper, Megan and I went to see the play "Aladdin" while the boys went to see "Ant Man"

Askra, our head server.  He was from Indonesia.  The kids got origami figures after each meal
Carles, also from Indonesia, was our host.  He made towel figures every night and left chocolates for us.  Megan joked one night that we needed more, so the next night we had 15 chocolates instead of 5.

Day 3. Cruising Day!

Our long awaited day finally arrived!  We boarded the shuttle just before noon on Aug 8th.  The ship was a bit delayed in starting check-in, as they had a coast guard inspection that morning.

The safety boats were right below us.

Disney Cruise Day 1 and 2

We left for our long awaited 7 night cruise on the Disney Fantasy last week Thursday.  We drove to Fargo on Thursday to catch an early morning flight on Friday.  The kids had the pool at the Days Inn all to themselves.  Megan said that she has never stayed at such a fancy hotel.  Her standards apparently aren't that high.
We were to the airport by 4:45 in the morning.  Both of our flights went well.  When we landed in Orlando, we were able walk right to the front of the shuttle line to get on a bus to the hotel.  We walked right up to the check in counter at the hotel.  This surprised me for a Friday!  I got some coffee and the kids got their swim gear on for an afternoon of swimming.

After supper, we went to the smaller pool closer to our room.  There was a family from England on holiday (that's how they say vacation) there that the kids befriended.  They had a great time playing together.  They even worked out a synchronized swimming routine.  They made fun of each others' accents, and practiced talking like each other.
My Mickey Mouse toes.  I took lots of pictures of my Mickey Mouse toes.

There are more pics from Day 1 and 2, but they are on my phone, and my phone had a mis-hap on Day 9.
