How we spent our Christmas vacation

Each Christmas vacation, we have several traditions we partake in.  Nighttime sledding.  Daytime sledding.  Trips to the Gateway to Science Center.  Go see a movie.  Perhaps go bowling.  Watch lots of football.  Take lots of naps.

This is what we did over Christmas break instead

 Eat chicken soup
 Take DayQuil
 Take Nyquil
Take Mucinex, and hope it really is fast max
 Take Alka-Selzer Cold

Give members of family under age 12 Children's Mucinex

And hope that this goes away soon!!!!

We did still see movies (boys to The Hobbit and girls to Frozen), and watch lots of football, and take many naps.

We Wish you a Merry Christmas

Blue Belt

Eric had his testing for Blue Belt rank last Saturday.  Grandma and Grandpa Miller were able to see him in action completing elbow strikes, palm strikes. shell and 360 defense moves, side kicks, round house kicks, and scoop kicks, to name a few.

The first 3 pics are from his class earlier in the week.  Eric was awarded his 1 year trophy!

Megan just loves whisker rubs from Dad.

Music program, Charlie, and lost teeth

Megan's Christmas program for school was last Thursday.  She was a wee bit excited.  She's been singing the songs for weeks.
 Can you find her?
There were no 'audition' parts this year, so thankfully we did not have any repeat of the Great Kindergarten Music Program Disaster of Feb 2013 Where Megan is Not Cast as Jill.  She was simply "Child #20"
Here's Charlie taking some snapshots of Isabelf, Lily, and Cora.  Again, Kacy is photobombing my pic.  She is obsessed with Charlie displays

Charlie exercising his 2nd Amendment Rights

And...Megan finally lost her loose tooth.
This was her expression the rest of the evening.

Presents were wrapped

Trudy's favorite hang out spot has been under the Christmas Tree.  Yesterday, I wrapped gifts and shoved them under the tree.  She was less than happy.

Kacy's photobombing my flash free pic.  I was unable to attempt another, as the 2 cats starting fighting.  No gift wrapping was damaged as a result of this fight.
Kacy prefers napping in the boys' underwear drawer.  She was sound asleep, but I woke her when attempting the picture
This is a random pic, but Megan read a Christmas book to the Elves last night.
