survived...

We survived the boys' swim and basketball seasons.  Jonathan's team took 3rd in the year end tournament.  The HS swim team took 1st in 5 of 12 events at WDA, and took third overall.  The 200 free relay set a team and WDA record!  While Eric didn't qualify for state, he did finish the season with PRs in each of the events he competed in.  It's been a very busy 3 months, and we look forward to track season (which starts Monday) and the boys having the same schedule.
The black and white pics from the swim meet were taken by another parent.  Onc shows the team cheering on the 4x100 free relay, which Mandan took 1st, and the other was taken prior to the meet.

Supper Conversations

Jonathan's current career plan is to be a lawyer.  Eric's current career plan is to be a combat medic with the Marines for 8 years, then go to med school to be a surgeon.  Upon hearing this, Jonathan told Eric that his hands are too shaky to be a surgeon and he would nick something in surgery, and that he would defend him when sued for malpractice.  I like how they look out for each other :-)

Another meet!

this weekend was Megan's turn for a swim meet. It was hosted by the Marlins.  She swam the 50 Fly, 50 Free, and 100 IM.  We chose to just do Saturday events, so did not sign up for the 100 Fly since that was offered on Sunday.
She did great!  Dropped a lot of time in each of her events.

This is all we do.  Go to swim meets and basketball games.  And, we drive the boys to swim meets/practice and basketball games.  And we feed them.  Lots of food.
