Playing in the leaves

It's that time of year for playing in the leaves.  We rake our leaves not to keep our yard looking tidy, but to give the kids a big pile to jump in.

Vegas

Mom and I went to vegas last week for our 70/40 birthday celebration.  Here are some pics.  I neglected to get a selfie of the 2 of us, but we looked smashing, even at 4 am central time when we finally got to bed.

The Long Awaited Driveway

Last week Tuesday, Gildea concrete construction began the long awaited destruction of our driveway.  By yesterday afternoon, it was finally completed.  Now we wait for 10-30 days before we can drive on it.  It is, however, open for basketball.

Pumpkin Patch, again...

Tonight we went to the Pumpkin Patch for our second trip of the year.  This time, we were there with our 4H club.  It was a beautiful evening!  Plus, there weren't too many at the Patch, so we didn't have to deal with all of the crowds.

 Immediately after posing for the obligatory Pumpkin Patch pose, the boys took off for the hay bales.  Megan was my photo prop for the rest of the night.

 Instead of a sand box, there is a corn box.  I wonder if the Pumpkin Patch gets it's corn seed from Peterson Farm Seed?

 Megan did multiple laps through the obstacle course.  I think her sparkle silver boots gave her the extra boost she needed.
