Twins!!!

Today we went to Minot to visit Grandma and Grandpa. On our way home, we detoured through Makoti to visit the newest residents, Jack and Sam. Megan was so excited to give them the books she picked out for them, and to hold Sam (he shares the name of one of the Wiggles, so she preferred him). It was fun seeing our twins at 7 1/2 hold 9 day old babies-it doesn't seem that long ago!
The new twins look nothing alike! Jack has more narrow facial features. Sam is all cheeks.

Snow shoeing

I went snow shoeing today along the Missouri River Trail Head. I brought the Nikon D40 with for company.

Best Day Ever

The boys fulfilled a lifelong dream today by getting to go on an airplane ride. Executive Air offers a Valentine's Day Special-an air tour of Bismarck Mandan. We were supposed to go this am, but it was too foggy. Luckily the fog cleared and they had a cancellation so we were able to reschedule. We didn't tell the boys about it until we got to the airport. Megan and I enjoyed cookies in the lobby.
We learned that Executive Air also does Christmas tours of the lights in town. Might have to take advantage of that one, too.

Scout banquet

Tonight was the Blue and Gold Banquet for Scouts. The boys were awarded their Tiger Scout Badges. Each Den performed a skit, which was the part of the program the boys enjoyed the most.

Nap Time

The furniture has arrived. I am very happy. So is Megan.
