Happy Thanksgiving

We enjoyed a lazy Thanksgiving on Thursday, meeting some good friends at Minerva's for the buffet, then home for football and napping. Did a teeny bit of shopping on Friday, met our newest nephew/cousin Huxley, got the tree up, went to a Wizard's game Saturday night (they lost by 3), and watched more football today. Back to reality tomorrow.

future career

Jonathan wants to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers when he grows up
Eric wants to be a superhero when he grows up
I think we have a glimpse of what Megan might do

Nap

This is the result when we tried to keep Megan from napping Friday afternoon so she would sleep during the 300 mile car ride to Grandma and Grandpa's....

zoo

These are a few pictures from a trip to the zoo a few weeks ago.

Third Day

A few weeks ago I took the boys to the Third Day concert at the Civic Center. They were cheering and clapping and singing along to all the songs they knew. If they got this fired up for a Christian concert, I can't imagine what they would be like if they went to a concert with one of Aunt Amy's favorite groups! The pics aren't the best, but it shows how close we were.

Back to Reality

After FIVE days off of school (six for Mom since I was off Thursday), tomorrow we are back to reality. The boys are not happy about this, especially Eric. We have enjoyed staying up late and being lazy in the mornings.
Yesterday I took the kids to Makoti to visit Missy and Josie. We all had fun. Don took the boys sledding at 8:30 pm. It was 10:15 when they got home. Mommy was just a wee bit worried. (Okay, so I got Megan up at 10 pm and drove to the sledding hill to make sure they were all okay and that no one was unconscious or had a cervical spinal cord injury.....)

Snow Day!

9+ inches of snow mixed with winds up to 50 mph = SNOW DAY!!! We were all thrilled to get a day to stay home. Our day was spent shoveling snow, sledding in the front yard, baking cookies, drinking hot chocolate, extra video game time, extra tv time, more sledding, more hot chocolate, and lots of being lazy. Megan was less than pleased when it was time for her to come in.

Halloween

It is not easy to get 3 kids to stand still for a picture in their Halloween costumes. These are the best I could get.
We went to a carnival at First Evangelical Free Church Friday night. The kids all had fun.
