Like her brother, this is Megan's favorite form of play/entertainment.  Sometimes, the 2 of them even play together with their Legos.

Special Friends

My friend, Joey, does a 365 photography challenge.  You take a picture each day of the year.  Waaaayyyy back in January, I 'signed up' to do this.  I took 3 of the challenge pics Jan 1-3.  Then I got busy/distracted/etc....  Now it's November 1, so I am going to really really try to do better with the challenge.  This is the 'special friends' assignment.  Anthony came over after school today to hang out with the boys.  He has been their buddy since Kindergarten.  He is frequently on the boys' soccer/football/basketball teams.  He is on Jonathan's traveling basketball team.  He is a neat young man.  In this picture, they are playing Halo 4 on the xbox 360.

Park Rapids

Last weekend, we went to Park Rapids for Macy's confirmation.  Eric had fun playing with Kayla.

 I think she had fun, too.

The Loot

This is a portion of our loot.  Piles and piles of candy.  As always, the CPA and I sorted and counted it all, because we are geeks and we love knowing that information.

Happy Halloween

The kids dressed up as some of our favorite Despicable Me characters for Halloween this year.  Eric was a yellow minion, Jonathan a purple minion, and Megan was Edith-the sassy tomboy middle child in the movie.

 There were several other minions at Lewis and Clark school yesterday (the kids attend one of the very few schools in Bis-Man that let students were actual Halloween costumes to school.)

 This is Halloween Eve.  The kids cleaned out the pumpkin, but we never got around to carving it.  Oh well.  At least we have roasted pumpkin seeds.

 Huxley, aka Michaelangelo, joined us for trick or treating.  I think my favorite part of the night was watching him sprint between houses

We had Eric hold Huxley's hand in an attempt to contain his speed.

The kids all had fun.  We got a ton of loot.  Megan cried at bedtime, as she was so sad that Halloween was over.
