It's that time of year for playing in the leaves. We rake our leaves not to keep our yard looking tidy, but to give the kids a big pile to jump in.

Vegas
Mom and I went to vegas last week for our 70/40 birthday celebration. Here are some pics. I neglected to get a selfie of the 2 of us, but we looked smashing, even at 4 am central time when we finally got to bed.

Pumpkin Patch, again...
Tonight we went to the Pumpkin Patch for our second trip of the year. This time, we were there with our 4H club. It was a beautiful evening! Plus, there weren't too many at the Patch, so we didn't have to deal with all of the crowds.
The obligatory Pumpkin Patch pose
Immediately after posing for the obligatory Pumpkin Patch pose, the boys took off for the hay bales. Megan was my photo prop for the rest of the night.
Instead of a sand box, there is a corn box. I wonder if the Pumpkin Patch gets it's corn seed from Peterson Farm Seed?
Megan did multiple laps through the obstacle course. I think her sparkle silver boots gave her the extra boost she needed.
The boys played tag on the hay bales
I don't love Megan more, she just loves having her picture taken. The boys do not

Pumpkin Patch
Last Monday, we made our annual trek to the Pumpkin Patch. It was a professional development day for Mandan Schools, so the kids were off (I was attending the workshop, however.) Missy was coming to town with her kids to visit the PP, so she picked up Megan from daycare, and the boys and I met up with her when I was done with work. Unbeknownst to both Missy and I, it was Midcontinent Day at the patch, which meant free admission, which meant tons and tons and tons of people. We still managed to have fun.
