Not the best pics, but here is Eric in the closing moments of Karate tonight.

2nd Place

Jonathan's team took 2nd in the tournament.  The lost by 9 points or so this morning.  It was a good game-the boys were just missing the easy lay up and under basket shots.  Apparently they have yet to beat the team they played in 3 meetings.  We'll get them next time.

Megan got to hide Isabelf tonight.
This is the same spot Jonathan has talked about wanting to hide her.  He's hasn't noticed her yet.  We'll see how he reacts when he does.

The Mavericks

Jonathan's traveling team is participating in their first tournament of the year this weekend.  It is hosted by the Mandan Boys' Basketball Club.  There are 4 4th grade boys' teams in the tournament: 3 Bismarck teams, and the lone Mandan team.  Today they beat the Bismarck Storm by ~25 points.  This evening they played the Bismarck Rough Justice team and won by 6!  Don and I split our attendance at the games, since it's not all the fun for Megan and Eric to spend so much of their weekend in a basketball gym.
Tomorrow at 10 they play the Bismarck Fastenal Fire for the champoinship.

Karate Kid

Eric is now in Karate classes.  He has talked about joining for awhile, and I have always said "yeah, we can maybe look in to that sometime." We were planning on waiting until after Christmas, but if we waited that long, he wouldn't be able to test for his belt until May.  By starting now, we can test in February.  He is having a lot of fun.  On Wed, he was presented with his white belt, which is the color belt you begin with.  He was all smiles.

Day 3

Another boring, non-exciting, non-challenging hiding spot for Isabelf.  It still took Jonathan forever to find her.

And yes, that is dust on the piano.  It is normally hidden by a framed picture.  Maybe I'll dust this weekend.  Or maybe I'll just put the picture frame back to hide it again.
