Blizzard?

We were fake snowed in this past weekend. We kept waiting for the big blizzard, but it never really came. It was yucky outside yesterday, but not so bad that you couldn't get around town at all. We still maintained a snowed in status for the weekend, and pretty much went nowhere.
Megan enjoyed playing with Eric's toys when he wasn't looking. Jonathan tried out the Wii Active and had fun with it, and Eric watched Jonathan play the Wii Active.
The boys got their report cards on Friday. It confirmed what we already knew-they are brilliant, but aren't the best at following directions. For the first time in their educational career, their report cards were identical. We are applying for Mensa tomorrow.

another update

Another week....still no new pictures for the Grandparents. I did take some, just haven't had time to upload them.
Megan is working on her drama skills. She is getting good at it. I was told by her tonight: "I don't like you anymore". She still didn't get her way.
Jonathan has been enjoying playing all of the board games we got for Christmas. Farkle is the favorite for this week.
Eric hasn't changed much from last week.

Update

I haven't taken any pictures since Megan's birthday to share. Sorry Grandparents.
Megan moved in to the 3-5 year old room yesterday at daycare. She loves it. She is happy to see some old friends from the toddler room. We are weaning her naps, which has made for some pleasant behavior in the evening. She also now prefers to be called "sister bear princess" or "princess sister bear". Speaker must know which order to place the "princess", or they will be reprimanded.

Eric got to eat lunch with Mrs. Steele yesterday. When he first told me this, I thought he was being punished, and had to eat in the classroom instead of with his friends. Half of the class actually got to eat with her, the other half (including Jonathan) will have their turn tomorrow.

Jonathan is mourning the end of the Steeler's season. Now he can focus his attention to Duke basketball. He had an unfortunate incident yesterday involving one of his, um, bodily functions. He used the phrase "smeared like peanut butter" to describe it. I will leave it at that.

I am apparently signing up to run the Fargo Marathon relay with some of my Bismarck friends. How do I get talked in to these things????

Happy Birthday, Megan

The big day has finally arrived. Megan has been so excited for her birthday. She wanted a pink birthday party, so today was all about pink. She and I each wore pink sweaters with pink socks today. She wore pink shoes, I did not, as pink shoes just aren't that cute in size 11. I sent sugar cookie bars with pnk frosting to daycare. I picked her up after lunch and we went for pink ice cream. At Lowe's, she picked out a plant with a pink flower for her bedroom. Her pink princess tent was wrapped in pink....well you get the picture....pink pink pink.

She did come out of her room crying shortly after we put her to bed-she claimed she didn't have any cake in her tummy anymore and needed another piece.

Half Moon

There is a downside to being potty trained....sometimes the diaper was the only thing keeping her pants up
