Christmas cookies

We decorated Christmas cookies Monday night.  The kids' attention span with this project improved every year.  Each kid decorated between 5-10 cookies, which left only 30 or so for me to decorate.

You can't really tell in these pics, but Eric has been sporting a left black eye since last Wednesday.  He and Jonathan had an unfortunate (yet planned) collision while sledding down our front yard, and J's sled hit Eric on the edge of his eye.  Thankfully, his teacher is our neighbor and witnessed the incident, so I did not need to worry about social services making a phone call.
These plates show some of the the cookies the kids made. These are the ones that we eat.  The ones I decorate are the ones we put in goodie baskets.  It's not that I think mine are superior, but rather....I don't exactly like my fingers and continue decorating as much as the kids do!
