Eric's orthodontist hosts a Family Fun Night each summer at the Superslide Amusement Park. Any patient, current or former, is invited. You can enjoy all the fun rides at the park for free, and they provide a yummy supper. Megan
really wanted to ride the ferris wheel. I did not. She was not tall enough to ride alone. Don did not come with us, so I was the lone, responsible, parent. So, I sucked it up and went on the ferris wheel with her. Turns out that despite the fact that I was riding a ferris wheel on my 39th birthday, I am still a big baby on them. I hate them. I hate any forced vestibular experience. Shortly after Megan and I were seated in out cart, the boys joined us. They were 4 cars away from us. They kept trying to engage me in conversation, but that would have involved me turning my head and looking either up or down, neither of which really appealed to me all that much. I also did not take any pictures while on the ferris wheel, as it would have involved releasing my death grip on the safety bar that kept Megan and I from plummeting to our death.
We only rode one time. Meg and I were released before the boys were, so I was able to take some pictures from the ground. The safe, secure, stable, non-moving ground.
Megan also enjoyed the kiddie roller coaster.
The boys also had fun with the water balloon sling shot game. They got splashed a few times!
