Papa's Polar Patch
Mommy's favorite place, Papa's Pumpkin Patch has been transformed to a winter wonderland and is now called Papa's Polar Patch. The kids and I met Mary Kay and Ava there today and had some fun in the snow. We went on a sleigh ride, the boys went on sled ride behind the 4 wheeler, and we enjoyed running around in the mazes. I had to drag the boys away after 1 1/2 hours, but Mommy and Megan were getting cold.

Merry Christmas, pt 2
We enjoyed a great Christmas Day. The boys and Megan were happy with what Santa left for them under the tree(Backyard Football PS2 game for J, Batman Lego PS2 game for E,
princess tea set for M), and played with their loot all day. We did take brief breaks for eating and to go look at the Christmas lights around town. Megan enjoyed the Christmas Story marathon with Mommy, much to Daddy's chagrin. She can say "Ralphie, giggles at the bunny pajama scene, and says "more" when the movie is over. She also says "Thank you Mommy" everytime she enjoys a cup of "tea". Mommy is feeling very blessed to have such a great family, and even more blessed to have a new job that is giving me so much more time with them over the Holidays.

Merry Christmas
We had a fun day of anticipation. Surprisingly, the boys did not ask every 5 minutes how much longer until present opening like last weekend at Park Rapids. We enjoyed the candlelight service at Good Shepherd (Mommy needs the candle with Silent Night-it's not Christmas without it), enjoyed Christmas Nachos for supper (the boys thought Gpa Miller would be jealous) and opened gifts. I actually had to tell the boys (including Don) to turn off "Destroyed in Seconds" so we could open gifts. We had a teeny bit of drama when Mommy couldn't remember where she hid half the gifts. Will let Don be in charge of that next year. The boys are now busy playing Bakugan, Megan is sound asleep, Mommy is high on caffeine after trying out my expresso machine, and Daddy is sitting in the rocking chair. Merry Christmas!

Gateway to Science
I took the boys to the Science Center today (we took Megan to daycare). There was an exhibit on brains, which included actual brain specimens. I explained to the boys how some people donate their bodies to science. This did not sit too well with Eric. He informed me that when he dies, I am supposed to take him straight to the graveyard. Do not stop at go. Do not collect $200. We had a lot of fun, and hope to go back with Daddy sometime.

Christmas in Park Rapids
Last weekend we beat the blizzard to celebrate Christmas in Minot, this weekend we beat the blizzard to celebrate Christmas in Park Rapids. It was stinking cold, but we managed to go sledding, sing songs, and have a holly, jolly good time. The boys and little Erica had a sleepover at Aunt Amy's-leaving a ratio of 6 adults to 1 toddler (Megan) at Gma and Gpa Miller's. We are warm and cozy in Mandan now,our tummies are full, and 2 of our 3 kids are nestled snug in their beds, while one is battling dragons in our living room.
